Steve Baird, founder of iclock is in his 13th year of designing and building Sports timing equipment aimed at Competitive Swimming but his interest in the Sport goes much further back. Steve started Competitive Swimming at the age of 5 and progressed his way through the Sport and eventually qualified for the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona where he competed in the 400IM. A few other of Steve's Swimming Career highlights include a Silver Medal in the 25km Open Water Swim at the 1991 Pan Pacific Games as well as competing for Canada in the 1994 Commonwealth Games in Victoria, British Columbia...where he now calls home.

Needless to say, Steve knows what it's like to swim endless lengths of the pool straining to see his times through steamy goggles. The neverending hours of swimming up and down the pool for one reason: to improve your time. Steve knew he was not the only one that was growing tired of the poor quality analog timing equipment that existed in virtually all Swimming pool facilities. The idea: why not build an accurate, highly visible, easy to read and reliable timing device for training that was also easy to travel the world with? Amazingly, nobody had done it...or done it well, until now.

iclock has come a long way in 10 years and is no longer a "One-Man-Show".
